Project Overview
As part of the NCPCR Gujarat initiative, our team conducted on-site visits to selected schools to understand ground-level challenges in the education system and child protection measures.
The Challenge
NCPCR required ground-level insights into school conditions, RTE compliance, child safety measures, and interaction with students, teachers, and parents to identify systemic issues.
Our Approach
Conducted detailed school visits across urban and rural Gujarat. Interacted with students, teachers, parents, and administrators. Assessed infrastructure, safety protocols, and RTE implementation.
Key Results
- Visited 300+ schools across all districts of Gujarat
- Interacted with 50,000+ students and 5,000+ teachers
- Identified 1,000+ compliance issues for rectification
- Prepared comprehensive reports for policy recommendations
- Supported improvement in school safety standards
Project Impact
Contributed to policy improvements for child protection in schools and enhanced compliance with Right to Education (RTE) norms across Gujarat's education system.
